40-Hour TX LCSW Clinical Supervisor Training Course
Course Overview: Join Tammy Day, LCSW-S, LCDC, C-DBT, for a comprehensive 40-hour training designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S). This course meets the requirements set forth by the Texas Administrative Code Rule §781.404 for supervision training and prepares you to apply for Supervisor Status.
Course Content:
- 2 hrs: Conceptualizing Supervision;
- 3 hrs: Models of Supervision;
- 4 hrs: Supervisory Relationship and Social Worker Development;
- 15 hrs: Supervision Methods and Techniques; Roles, Focus (process, conceptualization, and personalization), Group and Individual Supervision, Multi-cultural supervision, Evaluation methods)
- 12 hrs: Supervision and Standards of Best Practice, Codes of Ethics, Administrative Code, Legal and Professional issues, Liability;
- 4 hrs: Administrative (Supervision Plan, Supervision Contract, Required Hours, Record Keeping, and Reporting)
Course Structure:
- 20 Hours of Self-Paced Pre-Work: Gain a solid foundation by working through course materials at your own pace using our interactive course materials in LearnDash.
- 20 Hours of Live Virtual Instruction: Engage in dynamic discussions and practical exercises with Tammy Day and your LCSW peers over 2.5 days of live, interactive learning.
How to start:
Step 1: Check your schedule and pre-select the class you would like to attend for the LIVE portion of your course.
***We regularly update our course material to comply with new TAC, BHEC, and NASW policy and practice standards; therefore, pre-work course material will not be accessible until 60 days prior to your live course***
Once you enroll in the course you will have the choice to select one of the following dates:
June 2025: Fri 6 (8-5pm CT), Sat 7 (8-5 CT), Sun 8th (8-12pm CT) (Course Materials will be available starting April 18th)
July-August 2025: Thurs 31st (8-5 CT), Fri 1st (8-5 CT), Sat 2nd (8-12pm CT)(Course Materials will be available starting June 6th)
September 2025: Fri 12th (8-5 CT), Sat 13th (8-5 CT), Sun 14th (8-12pm CT) (Course Materials will be available starting July 21st)
November 2025: Thurs 6th (8-5 CT), Fri 7th (8-5 CT), Sat 8th (8-12pm CT) (Course Materials will be available starting September 12th)

- Do I need to take off work to attend the live course?
- Yes! The live portion is very interactive and requires participation with your fellow classmates. This is why we alternate Thurs, Fri, Sat, and a Fri, Sat, Sun options to accommodate differing work schedules.
- Do I have to have my camera on?
- Yes! We ask for your camera to be on majority of the time but, of course, you may excuse yourself as necessary.
- What if I need accomodations?

Refund Policy:

Refund Requests

Full Refunds
A full refund is available at any time prior to the release of the online course materials. If you wish to cancel your enrollment before accessing any course content, please contact us as soon as possible.
Partial Refunds
Once the online course materials have been released to you, only a partial refund may be issued. The amount of the partial refund will be determined based on the extent of access and engagement with the course content.
No Refunds
Refunds will not be granted under the following conditions:
- If you have attended any portion of the live classroom training without completing the required pre-work
- If you fail to complete the required pre-work and live training within the 90-day period.
